With the Black Lives Matter movement and COVID-19 pandemic in mind, legendary filmmaker Rolf de Heer's new film The Survival of Kindness takes audiences into a post-apocalyptic Australian outback world.

Flick Ford is joined on Primal Screen by Rolf de Heer, lead actor Mwajemi Hussein, and composer Anna Liebzeit to talk about the film which has been described by The Guardian as being "an elegant reverie about the violence and the stoicism beneath the surface of ordinary life."
