Primal Screen: Lola Quivoron and Antonia Buresi on the making of Rodeo
“The most important thing was the fact that during the cast process I really wanted to have non professional actors, but writers because I wanted to catch the soul of this universe. So, it was really important that the actors were also really focused on their passion of writing”
Flick Ford chats to director/co-writer Lola Quivoron and co-writer/star Antonia Buresi of RODEO, a gritty coming of age biker gang action flick which is currently screening at MIFF. Lola Quivoron spent months hanging out with real French suburban bikers in preparation for the film before finding her protagonist, Julie Ledru, pulling stunts on Instagram.
It is one of the many international films featured at this year’s MIFF with it's final screening happening Wednesday, August 16th.
