Another Australian filmmaker featured in this years 70th MIFF is Alena Lodkina, a Melbourne based writer and director who had her much-acclaimed debut feature ‘Strange Colours’ premiere at the Venice Film Festival 2017. She is back with a follow-up from that film which tells the story of an idealistic film student who is drawn into an enigmatic performance artist’s shadowy world.
