Hearing Colour and Tasting Sound on Sunday State of Mind
Synaesthesia is a neurological phenomenon where someone’s senses merge in atypical ways. Dr Solange Glasser researches a particular type of synaesthesia that allows people to ‘hear colour’, or rather, have vivid associations with particular sounds. Solange joined Sunday State of Mind host Lou Irving to discuss her research, including her findings about the flavour of an E major and the colour of C major.
