Good Fortune: Work, Play & Studying Music With Sui Zhen
Becky Freeman, best known to Triple R audiences for her project Sui Zhen, calls in to Good Fortune to chat about her day job as a Sound and Music Supervisor. Through her work with creative tech company Art Processors, Becky has collaborated with the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and West Australian Museum to create immersive and complementary soundscapes for their gallery spaces. Becky and Jazz chat about the increased awareness of the role sound can take in museums and galleries – from informed and instructive audio-guides to ambient and abstract soundtracks. Becky also talks about studying Music Therapy and the therapeutic effects of a great ’70s Aus-rock playlist.
