Eat It: A Very Extraordinary Vintage Indeed

Cam Smith has a chat with chef-turned-vintner Adam Foster of Syrahmi Wines about the weather: chiefly, how the weather pattern created by La Niña has affected this year’s vintage. The weather system, according to Adam, has resulted in a very long and slow ripening of the grapes, thanks to the consistent temperatures. While it’s too early to declare this the “vintage of the century”, Adam is confident that it’s definitely going to yield some pretty wonderful plonk.
