Breaking and Entering: The Many Faces Of Alex Macfarlane

Over the last six years local record label Hobbies Galore has released some of Melbourne’s weirdest and wildest underground music, from the sprawling punk of Possible Humans to the baroque pop of The Green Child. Label founder Alex Macfarlane (Twerps, Faceless Burial, The Stevens) drops by Breaking And Entering to go on a time-traveling dive through the label’s discography, from an early collaboration with the legendary R. Stevie Moore to last year’s expletory release with Al Montfort, Chateau I. Simon and Alex also chat about the label’s latest release, Alex’s new solo tape The Thousand Note Chord.
