Breakfasters: How To Host A Morning Tea for Culture With VACCA
The Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) is a state-wide organisation that offers support to young people and families with a particular focus on assisting safe and culturally thriving Aboriginal communities. Last year, VACCA launched its Morning Tea For Culture, an initiative that boosts cultural awareness through providing resources for friends, workplaces or schools to better understand Aboriginal culture and raise funds for Aboriginal kids in care. Yorta Yorta and Dja Dja Wurrung woman Muriel Bamblett is CEO at VACCA and calls in to Breakfasters to discuss what’s involved in hosting a morning tea and how you can participate.
