Breakfasters: How to Help Provide a Great Christmas for Aboriginal Children in Care

Muriel Bamblett is CEO of the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA), a welfare organisation that works with disadvantaged Aboriginal children across the state. Each year the organisation runs a Christmas Gift Appeal in which people can donate gifts for Aboriginal children in care or in one of VACCA’s programs. Muriel joins Breakfasters to talk about her organisation’s role helping Aboriginal children to grow up proud, self-determined and with access to learning opportunities. She also discusses what Christmas means to Aboriginal communities and 3RRR’s role as a drop-off point for this year’s Gift Appeal.
