Breakfasters: Eight Years of Putting the Peninsula on Film

The Mornington Peninsula – or simply, ‘the Ninch’ – was once primarily known as a hotspot for suburban family getaways and shredding the gnar at the local skate park. Then 2011 rolled around and actor/Rosebud local, Steve Bastoni had a sterling idea to galvanise the beachside community. The Peninsula Film Festival was born and has since grown to be a staple event for local creatives and the local film industry. Steve joins the ‘Fakefasters’ to chat about what’s in store for the upcoming 2019 edition, including new categories, awards and events, as well as a few handy tips on how to get the ball rolling as an amateur filmmaker.
