Underground collective Station Model Violence recently performed songs from their self-titled debut album (and recent Triple R Album of the Week) live in the Triple R Performance Space, hosted by Tim Scott of Teenage Hate.

Formed after Dan Stewart of Total Control, The UV Race and Straightjacket Nation relocated to Sydney at the end of 2022, they found new collaborators in Buz Clatworthy and Alan Gojak from R.M.F.C.. After enlisting other members from Den, Gaud, and an earlier unrealised band called KX Animal, the band's debut collection of songs started to take shape.

The sound that formed draws on motorik rock, serrated guitar lines, saxophone and keyboards, with Stewart’s gripping vocal performance tying it all together.
