As part of Refugee Week 2026, Triple R welcomed Iranian/Sydney artist Ashkan Shafiei of local label Music in Exile to the Triple R Performance Space.

Music in Exile is a Naarm based record label and registered charity supporting musicians with lived experience of migration and displacement who are living and working in the Australian music industry.

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body.
