Radiothon 2026

Live at RRR August 2026

30 July 2026
August announce

August is a very important month here at Triple R – it's when we kick off our Radiothon celebrations; and we're especially excited this year as we'll be celebrating 50 years of Triple R!

To help us with the party, we've got three very exciting artists joining us in the Triple R Performance Space this month. Coming to Triple R:

LISA MILLER

Acclaimed Melbourne-based country singer Lisa Miller celebrates the 30th anniversary of her debut album Quiet Girl with a Credit Card with a special set in the Triple R Performance Space on Friday 7 August, hosted by Denise Hylands of Twang.

Lisa Miller has been one of the leading lights of Melbourne’s vibrant alt-country scene, which has gone from strength to strength since her emergence in the 90s.

Performing on the night with many of the original players on the album, Lisa will treat Triple R subscribers to live versions of songs from her debut, as well as a selection of songs across her three decade back catalogue.

THE GNOMES

To help celebrate Triple R's 2026 Radiothon, Frankston's fab four The Gnomes will join in the festivities with a special set in the Triple R Performance Space, hosted by Clara Slewa of Velvet Haze.

Bursting onto the scene in 2025, The Gnomes have quickly gained a cult following for their 60s beat-influenced rock and roll, cemented by last year's debut album and recent EP, More.

Fresh off a run of sold out dive bar shows across Victoria, a triumphant set at Golden Plains and a recent European tour, The Gnomes will make the trip down the Nepean to perform for a lucky room of subscribers.

RAINBOW CHAN

For Live at RRR this Friday 28 August, Hong Kong-Australian interdisciplinary artist Rainbow Chan performs a live set of songs from her third studio album, The Bridal Lament, hosted by Charlie Miller of Frantic Items.

The Bridal Lament draws on Chan’s Weitou ancestry and reimagines a historical pre-marital ritual, in which brides publicly wept and sang before leaving their families.

Channelled seamlessly through her kaleidoscopic sound, from euphoric art pop to haunting ballads, The Bridal Lament is a deeply personal album centred on cultural inheritance, memory and the exchange of knowledge across generations.

The only way to attend is by being a subscriber, so make sure you're subscribing, then head to the Subscriber Giveaways page for your chance to win! The giveaway for Lisa Miller is now open, with the rest to follow.

We've also got a couple of other exciting surprises up our sleeve for the month of August, so be sure to keep it locked to the Rs! Stay tuned.
