Weatherboard House is a solo bedroom folk pop project of Melbourne/Naarm based Rob Pechar. This will be the first WBH headline show in almost four years, and a belated launch of the 2021 Albatross EP.
“In 2019 I spent a few days recording the EP with Sam at Holes and Corners, it’s an almost entirely solo nylon folk guitar EP. I released it during one of the lockdowns and made a few music videos at home for the launch. However, since the lockdown period I have been spending more time playing piano, so now I am really excited to finally launch these songs as a reimagined piano and synthesiser based live set.”
Rob is really excited to welcome Camilla Rose Sullivan to open the show. Camilla is a songwriter from the Dandenong Ranges who combines alt-country and folk stylings with a dark 90’s edge.
