Rose Bassett is back with single number two, bringing her band together to celebrate the release at The Gaso Upstairs.

An ode to her love of hiking, Rose's second single, Overland, celebrates the grounding influence of Australia's natural landscapes upon her sense of self and understanding of life. Written in collaboration with Naarm-based musician and avid nature friend, Ailsa Mitchell, the song is layered with emotive lyricism and harmony, all guided by Rose's signature honey tone.

Produced by Sophie Payten (AKA Gordi), engineered and mixed by Jono Steer (Angie Mcmahon) and mastered by Becki Whitton, Overland beautifully captures the experiential bliss of being alone in natural spaces that are entirely independent of your existence,
