Jungle City projects, in partnership with DIY HiFi Solar Powered Sound System, Vola foods, and Hope Street Recordings have joined forces to ReUNITE our northside Hip Hop, Afro Fusion, Reggae and Dancehall community after two long years of separation. Curated around the theme of ‘ceremony’, ReUNITE summons our diverse creative and broader community to reconnect through music, dance, soul food, and cultural practice – rebuilding our spirit in unity and celebration. As part of Melbourne Fringe Festival, and the Resonate music festival produced by Arts Merri-Bek, ReUNITE welcomes people of all ages and walks of life. So, bring your family and lets ‘BUILD A VIBE’.
Taking place outdoors at Vola Foods in Brunswick ReUNITE is hosted by JC Collective and features dance crews Burncity Queenz, Cocalero Boyz, Culture Queenz, Amaryllis, and Namo-Ale Afro Drumming & dance crew, DJ's Troublemekka, Deklack, and Chris NG, plus Performances by JXN Feat: Thamson P & Badoo, and Welcome to country smoking ceremony by Wurundjeri traditional owners.
