Returning to the pleasure dome after our sold out April showcase, we are delighted to announce Marination Presents: Human Movement (SYD).

In recent years, Edward Macdonald aka Human Movement has become recognised for developing other worldly sonic textures that toe the line between atmospheric, left-field dance music, all the way to full fledged, unadulterated rave and breaks. Creating far reaching groundswell, the Eora/Sydney based artist has had a consistent run of releases, guest mixes and experience on the live front, turning the heads of eager punters as well as tastemakers with key support coming from DJ Seinfeld, Logic1000, Ciel, Eris Drew, TSHA, Andras, Daniel Avery and D. Tiffany. His energetic ‘Clutch!’ EP via NY staple HOMAGE, saw him join a roster alongside the likes of KETTAMA & CINTHIE and garnering support across BBC R1, Boiler Room, triple j, RINSE FM and Mixmag, solidifying his presence on the International stage. Having been at the forefront of the Australian dance music scene & a staple of the circuit, it is with great pleasure we welcome Human Movement as our next interstate guest headliner.

Joining him, we bring support from standout local selectors:

We live, work and play on land that was forcibly taken from Aboriginal people. There has been no Treaty with the First Nations of this place and the effects of colonisation continue to this day. We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, on whose land this event will take place. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded.

There is a strict zero tolerance policy towards racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism or harassment of any kind. Please report any unwelcome behaviour to staff or event organisers. There may be some strobe lights used in performances.
