Mr Boogie Man Bar presents a triage of some of ndie/pop acts in town!
Combining cavernous synthesiser tones with piercing guitar refrains, Man vs Synth place a core emphasis on rhythm in their venture to spawn a seldom-explored, genre-defying genus of synth pop.
Indie pop powerhouse trio The Huneez are in town, playing their first run of Melbourne shows! Based in Wollongong, NSW, the band is known for playing some of the sweetest beats and juiciest jams around. Combining soulful melodies, funky rhythms, and some pleasantly piquant grooves into an assortment of original tracks, The Huneez will have you tapping your feet and moving from your seat.
Melbourne-based indie rock band Junior Bones writes emotive songs with catchy melodies and dreamy atmospherics. Drawing influence from psych-rock, indie-pop, post-punk, folk and new wave, songwriter Ryan Temby draws you in with imagery and storytelling exploring themes of reflection, experience, morality and existentialism.
The band was named after Temby’s rescue dog, after he flippantly remarked ‘all the good band names have been taken – even the dog has a great one’.
Grab your ticket today and head to Mr Boogie Man Bar on Saturday 16th July - doors at 8pm!
