GLASSHOUSE is a monthly initiative put together by guitarist Harry Tinney, as a means of reconnecting Melbourne musicians in the wake of lockdowns and very few performance and networking opportunities. A house band comprised of guitar, keyboard, double bass and drums will run the night, and musicians (singers, horn players, guitarists, bassists, drummers, pianists etc) are welcome to sit in and play jazz repertoire of their choosing.
There is no set cover charge – the idea is to make the night as inclusive as possible and to enjoy hanging out and playing with other like-minded musicians. Non-musicians of course are more than welcome to sit back and enjoy a great night of music! Instead of a cover charge there will be a pay-what-you-feel donation box at the bar - the proceeds of which will go directly to the house band for their time and the use of their instruments.
A drumkit, guitar amp, bass amp, keyboard, and PA (for vocalists) will be provided and setup on the night.
Doors from 7:30pm. Music kicks off at 8:00pm sharp.
The house band for this session is:
Harry Tinney: guitar
Miro Lauritz: keys
Ross Anderson: double bass
Luke Andreson: drums
