These three bands are no strangers to one another, previously sharing lineups this year, all three acts truly embodying the dark & absurd world of performance art.

The Shimmering Dark

A collision of romantic poetry, gothic folklore and experimental sound — music that feels like longing, lightning and spellwork. The Duo are known to captivate audiences through the deliverance of their uniquely crafted musical arrangements, using fierce guitar riffs paired with hypnotic femme story telling vocals, preaching compositions dark and wonderful.

Shallow

Shallow is a solo project that was formed in Naarm / Melbourne in 2010.

Via the employing of femme-identified power electronics and death industrial, emphasis is placed on a combination of minimal and vulnerable intensities with brickwalled extremities to bend rather than break the strength of the fourth wall.

Eris & The Disciples

Eris & The Disciples execute a live music set of gothic riffs, electro pulsating drum tracks & ferocious vocals… This group encapsulates heavy dark elements of sound, Performed alongside interactive dancers embracing the ritualistic element of performance art… a show carefully crafted showcasing a whole new level of a live act.

Mamma Chen’s acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation, the true owners of the land that we live and operate on. We would like to pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
