After sell-out shows around Australia, The Emilia Quintet are back to present Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend – Music of the Movies, a new take on film classics in a jazz setting.

Award-winning soul sensation Emilia has a big voice and even bigger hair. With her soaring vocals, wild horn-like improvisations and enrapturing shows, Emilia has stolen hearts around the globe. Travelling internationally for jazz festivals in Indonesia, Europe and selling out rooms in Melbourne, her voice is reminiscent of the late great jazz and soul queens with a warm tone that is unique as it is familiar. She was the recipient of a Push Composition Prize, Bornstein Jazz Voice Prize and the Future Leaders Jazz Awards, bringing a seamless blend of old school soul and jazz you won’t want to miss.

Emilia will be joined by her awe-inspiring quintet to bring to life the old-school Hollywood music you know and love with a jazz twist.

At The Count's, within The Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts.
