DOGi KATZ, is a genre and gender defying solo musician and producer based in Narrm (Melbourne). Much like their alias, DOGi KATZ isn’t bound to just one label - Neither dog nor cat, but both! - Neither pop, neo soul, nor RnB but all three - maybe more? Their music explores fluidity; the light and dark, the masculine and feminine, the calm and chaotic.
Heavily influenced by alternative jazz and neo soul vocalists, DOGi KATZ has established a trademark sound, with a style that explores a myriad of unconventional and unpredictable methods of vocal manipulation and expression. Lyrically they lean into the personal, accompanied by a sharp wit, to maintain a playfulness that is inherent to their persona, on and off stage.
Joined by two very special guests, and Melbourne icons, Hunny Machete & Racerage. ;)

We live, work and play on land that was forcibly taken from Aboriginal people. There has been no Treaty with the First Nations of this place and the effects of colonisation continue to this day. We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, on whose land this event will take place. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded.
