Berlin based force-to-be-reckoned with TORNADO WALLACE is headlining DANCE 2 SAVE TAKAYNA before he heads back to Europe. He is supported by Melbourne's best party animals - OTOLOGIC (Animals Dancing/NTS Radio), the don of house music in Australia - DJ JNETT (Crown Ruler), DJ ALI (Silent Sounds).

When? Friday 8th April, 7pm - 1am at The Leadbeater Hotel in Richmond, naarm. Free drinks for early arrivals, happy hour prices, Patagonia door prizes and Bob Brown Foundation merch available to purchase. Tickets are only $50, available on Oztix or via www.leadbeaterhotel.com.au

It’s a feel-good fundraising party with all proceeds going to the Bob Brown Foundation who passionately and peacefully protect old growth forests in lutruwita (Tasmania).

To top off a line up of international and Melbourne-based DJs in an iconic live music venue, this party provides an opportunity to connect, learn and collaborate on climate change action.

Right now, takayna/Tarkine is under threat from mining and logging, and the peaceful forest defenders at Pieman Blockade are the only thing standing in the way of mining company MMG's proposed heavy metals toxic tailings dam in the middle of takayna. If MMG proceeds with these works, this ancient Gondwanan rainforest will be logged, mined and poisoned. Our government and MMG are putting profit over planet and prioritising the poisoning of takayna/Tarkine, which is full of Aboriginal archaeology and is home to endangered native flora and fauna including the masked owl.

The best action, other than raising these critical funds for The Bob Brown Foundation, is to push your local MP to nominate takayna/Tarkine for World Heritage Listed protection and to be protected as a National Park.

We’ve seen takayna’s beauty first hand, we've seen its magic - our lungs depend on it.

So come together and DANCE 2 SAVE TAKAYNA!
