Tucked away in the corner of pub or bar you will find Crescent Moon plying their trade with a combination of lap steel, twang and sweet three-part harmonies. Borrowing a little from the old, and with a respectful nod to the more contemporary, Crescent Moon turn out a swag of originals and put their stamp on a sample of other composers’ work.

Described as well-travelled and eclectic mix of weaving, melody, tex-mex and country rhythms Crescent Moon sing of cattle, cars, canines, cold winter Sundays and the call of the sea.

On the back of the release and launch of their album ‘Ocean’ at Kindred Bandroom late in ’25, Crescent Moon are back again at Kindred on Saturday 21 February with support from the great Sunshine Tip.
