Elder statesman meets young maverick. Pianists Bob Sedergreen and Adam Rudegeair join forces to create a cross-generational jazz party that celebrates the intensity and spirit of New Orleans. This double-piano show sees Australian jazz legend Sedergreen with his mentee Rudegeair as they present original works and inspired reworkings of classics. For over four years they have been paying tribute to the musical energy of the Crescent City, which has roots in music from Africa and the Caribbean and now can be found all over the world, from Frankfurt to Frankston.

After years of performances together, and a Bourbon Street to Brunswick Street live album under their belts, Sedergreen and Rudegeair don’t like to plan things too much, so expect to witness their spontaneous, fun, intense and irreverent conversation on the bandstand. Don’t miss their duelling pianos, witty dialogue and vibrant chemistry.

At The Count's within The Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts.
