The fourth LP from Atlanta, Georgia four-piece Deerhunter is a characteristically brilliant collection of songs, exhibiting the band's striking range and depth of musical influences, as well as their ability to create timeless styles of their own. Self-described practitioners of 'ambient punk', Deerhunter have apparently based their latest album Halycon Digest around the concept of how the mind uses and often creates it’s own memories out of the fragmentation of others.
