Welcome to the RRR website
If you're reading this, you may have noticed things here
at
rrr.org.au look different. Our new site is now in place and there
is a whole bunch of new goodies to enjoy.
One of these is our
new Subscribers
section. If you are a subscriber you will be able to log in to our
subscriber-only section (which will appear in the left-hand menu when
you are logged in as a subscriber) where you can post gig info, arts
& community events information, reviews, enter competitions and
chat with other subscribers in our forum and read the Trip magazine.
You will also be able to access the full list of our expanded audio
archives section (found under the "programs" menu) although everyone
can access the ten most recent archives in high or low quality
streaming audio. For more information on how you will receive your
login details as a subscriber, see below. For more information on
becoming a subscriber, go to our subscription
section.
Please take the time to check out some of the other
features of the site:
Scrolling down that left-hand menu, under "Programs"
there is a program guide, including a day-by-day breakdown of
what programs are going to air on the station. Upcoming highlights
detailing interviews, specials, features and anything else of
particular interest in a given show.Podcasts are available for
many of our talk shows (and some shows that are podcast-only). There are
profiles for our presenters (a good reminder not to believe
everything you read on the internet). The afore-mentioned audio
archives are being constantly expanded and new live audio streaming
facilities are available.
Under 'What's going on" you will
find...well...what's going on really. The events that Triple R is presenting
- gigs, film & theatre, live-to-air broadcasts. Triple R News
will bring you station-related news. The Triple R Gig Guide, our
Arts Diary and Community Info & Events
will all now have subscriber-added events and information to flesh out
your picture of what's happening in Melbourne (and beyond). A new photo
gallery has been added and reviews are available from both
broadcasters and subscribers for your reading pleasure.
The "Sponsorship
& Promotions" menu will lead you to information about how promotional
campaigns on Triple R work (and what the going rates are), who the
relevant sponsorship contacts are if you want to enquire further
(or book). An audience profile is provided. Information about how
we handle community service announcements is available and and,
if you want to book advertising in our subscriber magazine "The Trip"
(published three times a year) you can start with the info here.
Music
is a massive part of Triple R's focus and the "Music" menu will
lead you to a number of ways to indulge this shared passion: Album Of
The Week, Soundscape (sound grabs of ten new releases deemed
worthy of special attention) and reviews can be found here. If
you wish to place a music interview, you can make the request
from here. If you want to submit music
to be played on the station then information for the best way to
proceed is here and when from time to time we get exclusive tracks to
make available for download or tickets to special events
you will find them in this section.
Subscriptions make the world
go round...well, they don't but they do keep the station on air. You
will find a host of good reasons to subscribe (and our new online
subscription facility for new subscriber or renewals) under the "Subscriptions"
menu.
All the wonderful businesses that offer our subscribers a
range of discounts can be found in "Subscriber Discounters"
as well as info for all the lovely businesses that don't offer our
subscriber anything but would like to (you know who you are).
Triple
R merchandise, books, special offers, seasonal sales...all these can be
found in the "Shop" but now you can buy directly with our online
payment facility!
All you ever wanted to know about Triple R
(and maybe somethings you didn't) can be sourced in "About RRR";
a profile of the station, a brief history, the station codes
of practice and an FAQ
(frequently asked questions) can all be found here NB. if something
isn't covered in the FAQ, fear not. Contact us often enough and it will
find it's way in there (probably quite quickly), which brings us to...
"Contact
Us" - a one-stop shop for getting in touch with the station. "Details"
give you the basics (address, phone, fax, office hours etc.). "Staff"
gives you a breakdown and contacts for the...well....staff. "Radio
Training" contains course outlines and applications forms for the
current radio training offered by the station. "How to Volunteer"
has some explanations of the various ways that volunteers assist with
every aspect of the day-to-day running of the station and some info on
how to get involved. "Submit Music" goes over how to get music to
the station for consideration for airplay. "Feedback" is for a
any piece of feedback you would care to send us (shows, the station in
general, this website etc.) and "Interview Requests"
lets you request music or talk interviews in the most direct manner
(emailed straight to the people who handle those requests).
You
can sign up for an weekly e-news letter
(to begin 2009) detailing station news and events, upcoming
highlights and Triple R presenter events and more (whether you are a
subscriber or not).
Lastly, if you can't find what you are looking for, use the new search facility (long overdue but most welcome now) to track down what you are looking for (and pop us a note in the feedback form to let us know that you couldn't find it easily).
SUBCRIBER LOGIN INFORMATION:
If
you
have subscribed to the station and have given us a current email address, you will have receive an email directing you to a link where you can choose a username and
password for the site (and proceed to login from there).
If you
are a current Triple R subscriber but did not subscribe over the last
radiothon we may not have a current email address for you. If this is
the case OR you did recently subscribe but you have not received an
email in the week post-radiothon OR you subscribed in the last radiothon but did not receive the email mentioned above, then please email sublogin@rrr.org.au

Even this little it stills looks pretty.
