Radiotherapy and Einstein Au Go-Go will broadcast live from the Australian Synchrotron Open Day
Australian Synchroton is Australia’s largest research and science facility.
Take part in tours of the facility and its inner workings and talk to scientists about their work in areas as diverse as nanotechnology, biotechnology, advanced materials, climate change, forensic science, geology and art.

from 10am to midday on Sunday 27th of November
at the Australian Synchrotron Open Day, Blackburn Road, Clayton
Entry to the Australian Synchrotron Open Day is free but bookings are essential.
Online bookings for Self-Guided and Specialist Tours are available.
The Australian Synchrotron Open Day is from 10am-4pm
In case you were wondering... The Australian Synchrotron's light is generated from electricity. Radioactive material, such as cobalt, is not used to produce light in the facility.
On Open Day, the synchrotron will not be generating light.
