Presents Byte Into It
Phil is currently the host of Byte Into It having inherited the position from Duncan McKew (Duncan Donuts) who got an offer he couldn't refuse. Having mumbled and fumbled his way through various music and magazine programs on RRR for some years (including Monday Mourning the only program in broadcast history that always started at 18 minutes past the hour), Phil was given the broadcast equivalent of "a real job" in 1993 (meaning he had to prepare and look like he knew what he was talking about) on Byte Into It and an opportunity to paticicpate in the natural enemy of a real broadcast job in the form of "Blokes You Can Trust".
"Blokes" eventually fell from the airwaves and Phil continues to host Byte Into It until the programing commitee remember and do something about it.
He also works on IT for the station so if you are having problems with this website it will probably end up being his fault...
