Presents Long Grass Sessions
How did you first connect with Triple R?
Doing a communication degree at RMIT University and the Triple R presenter's course.
What/when was your first show?
Long Grass Sessions late night Mon 12-2am.
What's your favourite Triple R story?
My funniest story happened when I was interviewing a guest whose mobile rang - he proceeded to answer the phone call and head into conversation with the caller - leaving me sat on-air trying to figure out what to do next.
Your favourite other Triple R program and why?
Kinky Afro and The Ghost's Skull Cave - I just like the musical route both these shows take me on.
The journey's always different, commentary's unobtrusive and I'm generally left with something to think about.
What does Triple R mean to you?
Local voice and freedom of musical choice.
The studio door has accidentally jammed shut with you stuck inside. If there was only one CD in there with you what would you want it to be and why?
Any Trojan reggae box set would keep me happy.
What on-air experience still makes you cringe and want to crawl under a mat?
Trying to describe a very strange alternative therapy being performed on someone else live in the studio - the therapist was nervous as hell, shaking and dripping sweat all over the poor person I'd roped into taking part in the exercise.
It was painful to watch - let alone explain to listeners.
