How did you first connect with Triple R?

I volunteered for Radiothon in 1991.

What/when was your first show?

VPL with Mel Northrope.

What's your favourite Triple R story?

I got stacks. Rather than drop the big names, what about when primary school student Hun was on our show talking about his school's art show? When we asked if he'd be in attendance, completely assuming he would be, he replied "I'm a definite maybe." I liked that kid a lot.

Your favourite other Triple R program and why?

You know I really don't like to pick favourites.

What does Triple R mean to you?

A whole bunch. I have always loved music, so to be involved with a station that plays, embraces and thrives on such a diverse range of music is the absolute shit. Let's not forget the talk and interviews on offer either, you really can't get that anywhere else. Perhaps you can get some of the guests elsewhere, but they just don't seem to loosen up like they do with RRR presenters. It's such a great feeling when you hear a guest sound genuinely sad about finishing their interview, especially the overseas guests who have probably been going through the motions of a press junket. You can actually hear them heave a sigh of relief.

The studio door has accidentally jammed shut with you stuck inside. If there was only one CD in there with you what would you want it to be and why?

Let's just say Sam & Michael wouldn't last long if it was anything by The Pet Shop Boys, I could get pretty violent.
