How did you first connect with Triple R?
I had a mood-swing in the mid-80s. EON FM were letting me down. Kids In The Kitchen were #1 on the Top 8 At 8 with Jon Peters for 46 nights running - an outrage. Dad was discovering new bands like Big Pig on 3CR, carrying on like he knew where it was at - a further outrage. I needed to cultivate my own identity. Someone draped in black in the schoolyard said Triple R was ok. I tuned in. Like masturbation it was weird but it felt good.
What/when was your first show?
Slanted And Enchanted. A lifetime ago.
What's your favourite Triple R story?
It's not exactly a favourite, but it's certainly memorable: Things were crumbling all around me at a particular point in time and one Sunday evening I presented Slanted And Enchanted in an inebriated state. I played Chris Isaak's song ‘Wicked Game' three times. I guess I kept forgetting that I'd already played it. After the show, Graney rang me from the hills and said, "Elizabeth, Clare and I are worried about you. Why did you play Wicked Game three times?" I don't particularly like that song and it was news to me that I'd played it even once.
Your favourite other Triple R program and why?
It changes all the time. Presently I enjoy Tuesdays and Wednesdays - Spoke, Transference, Wax Lyrical.
What does Triple R mean to you?

The studio door has accidentally jammed shut with you stuck inside. If there was only one CD in there with you what would you want it to be and why?
Any album by Erykah Badu. I'd slow my breathing right down, tap into her mojo and everything would be alllright.
What's Dave Graney really like?
