How did you first connect with Triple R?
As a fan of Kate Bathgate's show circa 1990
What/when was your first show?
Sat morning 4am -6am Oct-Nov 98 for 3 months before moving to Sat evenings
This is when weird groov'n was born (Sat's 7pm-10pm)
What's your favorite Triple R story?
Being on the Sat evening I would get "the party show" guests call in to find out if its was going to be a genuine interview ..
One time the "party show" was doing call girls & hookers as a topic..
This "lady" calls in asking if it's a real show demanding to speak to someone about it..
And saying if you guys are taking the piss that someone may get a visits and get the "bleeped kicked out of them"
Needless to say ....HANDBALL.......I told the "lady" it would be best to ring at midnight to confirm the segment was going to air....
I assured her the party show was a credible interview show working with cutting edge topics.
Your favorite other Triple R program and why?
Byte Into It(Wednesday 7pm - 8pm) with Phil Wales,Funny entertaining .. and a bit nerdy,,
What does Triple R mean to you?
Musical freedom of Melbourne airwaves ... the rest of the world wishes they had it as good as Melbourne..
The fact is without RRR Melbourne would not be Melbourne..
