It's sad when a relationship breaks up, and it's devastating if you're the one being dumped. (Unless you did a bunch of stuff that ensured you'd get dumped because you were too gutless to do the dumping yourself. Ring any bells? Talk to me honky!) Despite our deeply penetrating questions, it's difficult to fathom which Scared Weird Little Guy is dumping which Scared Weird Little Guy. Twenny One Years! They've made some kinda pact. They cover up the acrimony with jokes cuz they know that all we ask of them are bellyaches of the laughing variety. It's a tough gig interviewing comedians cuz they brush off any semblance of seriousness with sharp one-liners. The interviewer feels persecuted but has no hand! I left the station with a sore stomach and a rattled head. Later I got caught in a rain storm. My new Connies got drenched and may not be resurrected. My boyfriend told me they're passe anyway - he wants my feet to be swathed in contemporary lady-like shit. I grabbed an old lipstick, drew all over my face and yelled, "You wanna lady? Yeah? You come n grab a piece of this baby!"
