The events are on as part of the Melbourne Writers Festival and are all about paying tribute to the Tongue. Science, taste, sound, language, visual and culinary arts - what more could you want?! Get along and join chef, Robert Monteau as he reveals the secrets of cooking North Italian tongue dish - Bollito Misto! It's all happening at the Footscray Community Arts Centre.

Sudanese performer, Ajak Kwai, dropped into Triple R to wax lyrical about song, dance, storytelling and culture - as part of the Darebin Music Feast. Joining her was Tawanda Godzikwa, who has set up the JABULA! African community choir. Both acts will be performing as part of Darebin's Music Market. To catch more of JABULA! and Ajak's spine-tingling live Triple R performance:

Other Film Festival Director, Rick Randall, swung by Triple R to give us the lowdown of what we can expect from this year's Program (wonderfully broad and a great selection of films from right across the globe). Alongside Rick, we were rapt to be joined by Canadian film/documentary maker, Rob Spence (aka Eyeborg), who has been successfully fitted with a mini video camera and transmitter in his prosthetic eye. Rob is currently shooting a doco using his artificial eye and will be appearing during the Film Festival to demonstrate a functioning camera-eye.
