Dr Andre Renzaho, Executive Director of the African Leadership, Learning and Advocacy Group (ALLAG) joined us at Triple R to discuss the importance of mobilising Australia's African diaspora through this non-profit, community organisation. He explained some of the barriers that may affect African communities being able to successfully integrate more easily with each other - and by extension, Australian society.

"Pictures for Peace" is a photography exhibition/fundraiser happening TONIGHT only, to raise funds for indigenous Mexican organisation, Las Abejas. The group work at the grassroots level supporting women's leadership/participation, health and education projects, plus more. Featuring astonishing images taken by Justin Coburn during a number of years spent in Mexico.

The Stroke Association of Victoria are presenting "Recovery: Stroke Survivors share their stories". Stroke can affect anyone at any age - and any stage of their life. This exhibition provides an opportunity for survivors to give us a window into their lives after a stroke. The exhibition runs from Friday 14th - Sunday 16th May.
