GUESTS:
Dr Lynne Hillier joined us from La Trobe University's Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society to talk about the 3rd national "Writing Themselves In" survey. The questionnaire looks at the experiences, services and support networks of same sex attracted youth aged 14-21 years. Results will be compiled into a report to be released in September, 2010. For now, they are looking for more participants to complete their survey.

Fresh from Womadelaide, I shared my conversation with Uttama Hubert (aka Rocco) from the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble. The crew wowed audiences at the Festival and definitely know how to bring it! Uttama spoke about growing up with his famous father, the Sun Ark studio, rubbing shoulders with some of the greatest musicians and how (with 8 brothers in the band) the Hypnotic Brass ensemble mob is very much a family affair!
