playlist plus atheists plus marketeers!

2nd Feb 10

Written by Elizabeth:

First up we had Fiona Newton on our show, who, along with Louise Irving, has spent the last 18 months getting a brand new Fitzroy market up and running. Hurrah! On the first Saturday of every month from 10am-2pm head for Fitzroy Primary School and be surprised! awed! and stoked! by a mix of second hand bric-a-brac, emerging fashion and jewelery designs, food, performance, massage etc. I went along with a crime wave of a hangover, and still had fun.

Our second guest was atheist conference organiser Jason Ball. Young, fresh, and clear-headed, Jason told us of the great gust of fresh air that shall descend upon Melbourne mid-March when the first ever Rise Of Atheism conference takes place. Hey pal, it's already sold out. Did those crazy Micks buy up all the tix? Who knows. The website has already been hacked. People are scared I guess. Scared that when they look up in the sky that that's all there is? Not sure. But let's here it for different points of view. Party on!
