CHATTERS:
In his first segment on Triple R, Dr Sam Ginsberg will be joining us on the last Wed of each month to talk all things related to the human psyche, emotions... and well - life...! Today - on the back of the Dalai Lama coming to town - we talked 'happiness'.
-------
Sarah Giufre and Shannon Blizzard joined us to talk about Aardvark Sessions. This project teams up established musicians with young people who have lived with a long-term/serious illness. Music is their way to creatively communicate their stories, express their challenges and engage with other people of their generation. Alongside the musicians, these young folk write, record and perform original music. Kinda like a form of music therapy...

Sweeping into the Triple R studios and filling it with their vibrancy were members of Victoria's Caribbean community, Jigzie Campbell and Pat Thomas. The ladies talked culture, cricket, carnival, patois, limin' and so much more! Check out the beauty of West Indian culture at the Immigration Museum, in , "Callaloo: the Caribbean mix in Victoria". With their complex ancestry of African slaves, Indian workers and colonisers from Britain, France, Spain and the Netherlands - there are no shortage of compelling stories to be told. And parents should check out the children's workshops. More info:
