Boy oh boy.
You were hit hard in the chest from the outset this week with the Australian cities in the schoolyard, then there was a tribute to Icehouse - in particular their megasmash Electric Blue, then a look at relationship-ending statements with the "You had me at hello" segment. You heard a mountain climber join a band, you heard about the wombats at Wilson's Prom and you heard a sponsorship announcement about air guitars. But mostly you heard about Heavy Flow improv group and a nauseating song from local songstress Allison.
We played the Accident Medly from Shaun Micallef's new album, and some ads for Alcan, Ice Coogne, Australia'a bicentenary and the 1983 Australian cricket team calendar.
Casey Benetto came in and played a fabulous new tune live in the studio.
