Our 30th show kicked off with our intro, the we introduced ourselves, then the rest:
The airport joker, then a chat about great f***ing songstresses and some whingeing about househunting. At that point we played a song - it was the Snot Rap by Kenny Everett and it was fantastic. The we laughed about Leunig, popped in on Tom Waits and Audrey Hepburn and their new sitcom, followed by an exclusive interview with Michu Meszaros - the man in the ALF suit in the popular television comedy of the same name, who also treated us to a rendition of California Dreaming. Hugh Jackman played his Desert Island Discs, Justin's clown was returned to him and there was an ad for channel 10's new timeslot.
There were some other bits: PSA recordings about putting things in your mouth, the German Fraggle Rock theme, along with the themes to Vicki Viking and Hunter.
Our guest was our first-monday-of-the-month poet Ben Popjie, who regaled us about babies.
