We didn't get to play any songs at all tonight. Not one.
We played other stuff though: our second DVD dealer bit, which also had the theme to Mad Men with lyrics, there was some Pomerantz laughter with Moby accompaniment, saucy outtakes from some children's show which I've forgotten the name of, an iphone ad, T-Bone back-announced some crackin' electronic music, then there was a mixed up finance report, Damien called Justin to say that mum had had a bad fall, then there was an ad for Ghostbusters breakfast cereal and a milking cow toy from Kenna, we spoke to a local about the poet statue in Fitzroy, gave a review of the ACDC's Give A Dog A Bone, and we finished off with Damien calling Justin to tell him that from now on he'd have a groovy new catchphrase: "And that's just the way it is" - also with Moby accompaniment. It was far and away our most ambient show so far.
