Hello, Rambl in the chair again this week, called in to cover at the last minute whilst Declan took care of a sick bubba. There's been plenty of new offerings since last time I did the show, so tonight was chock full of very fresh business indeed. Broadcast and the Focus Group have a new mini-lp on Warp Records as a taster for their full-length due in 2010 and that formed a loose album of the week along with the new Floating Points which closed out the show as ep of the week. Plus a cut from the Shafiq Husayn album En' A-Free Kah, a couple from the second of Hyperdub's 5 year anniversary releases, parts 1 and 2 of a beautiful new Zomby 10" called Digital Flora (which I mistakenly referred to as 'Brain Math', which is the label), some new funky business, a couple of local beats from Aoi and Inskwel, some deep German minimal house grooves from some very familiar names and one of my fave new house cuts from the Motor City Drum Ensemble.
