Paul spoke to cinematographer Ellery Ryan about his work on the new Australian production Van Diemen’s Land. Ellery has worked on a number of Australian productions including ‘The Secret Life of Us’, ‘Cosi’, Angel Baby’, ‘Death in Brunswick’ and ‘Spotswood’. Van Diemen’s Land is currently screening in cinemas.
Writer / director Denny Lawrence came in to talk about ‘Goodbye Paradise, a 1983 film he wrote with Bob Ellis. Goodbye Paradise is screening as part of ACMI’s Focus on Australian Film Noir program, which runs until Sunday 27 September.
