Fijian-Australian photographer, Torika Bolatagici-Vetuna, joined us at Triple R to wax lyrical about her exciting projects, "Missing Pacific" and "Decolonise the Mind" - both being run through Frankston Library. These projects explore culture, identity and notions of the homeland from a diasporic Pacific perspective.

Torika hopes to engage with Pacific communities living in the Frankston area. If you know of any Pacific Islanders - or you are a Pacific Islander living around this neck of the woods - please get in touch with Torika to hopefully be a part of this great initiative showcasing ailan culture:

The New Hope Foundation (NHF) has been providing settlement, welfare, advocacy and support to migrants, refugees and CALD communities for nearly three decades. They do a range of important projects and training workshops to help recently arrived people feel settled in their new home. Employment & Training Services Coordinator - Kass Halastanis - shared just some of the work NHF do in the community and what the added bonuses are for all involved.

As a non-profit organisation, NHF rely on donations to continue their exceptional work. All donations over $2 are tax deductible, so please provide support where possible:
