Tonight local beatsmith and DJ Inskwel dropped by for a chat and he toted with him an exclusive mix of fresh from the studio beats for against the arctic listeners. All these tunes are from forthcoming releases in the next six months so it was a real privilege to hear a lot of these beats for the first time on radio. Otherwise got into a lot of new records from the last month or so like Mayer Hawthorne, Roedelius (of Harmonia and Cluster Fame), beautiful afrobeat album from Pax Nicholas, Crayon Fields, Dimlite and fresh unreleased jams from Africa Hi Tech, the latest collaboration between Mark Pritchard of Harmonic 313 and super cosmic soul vocalist Steve Spacek. Look out for the Africa Hi Tech album early next year.
