All good things must come to an end, and so I'd Rather Jack winds up three years of slipping listeners a roofie and having its wicked way with their ears every Wednesday night.
The final edition was chockers with special moments from old shows, Clem Bastow rang up and shared some of her memories from "the early years", Angie Hart kindly dropped by to introduce her favourite Michael Bolton track, Frank from Noble Park rang and recited a poem he'd written for the occasion, Sexy Joel gave us his final Guide To Sexy Music, and in between all these wonderful things, I played all the glorious cheesy tracks I'd Rather Jack has become known for fearlessly belting out on the wireless.
I'm moving to a brand spankin' new slot - Fridays 7pm til 10pm - and presenting a show I've dubbed Wired For Sound, and it'll make its radio debut on April 17th. Tune in, why don't you.
In the meantime, let me say thanks to all the listeners and subscribers who have supported this strange beast of a program over the last three years. It's been a wild ride, and I've loved every minute of it.
