OTHER INFORMATION
ANTI-ABC WATERMARK CAMPAIGN
Listener Greg Keogh has set up an Anti-Watermark site
coordinating ways and means to persuade ABC T.V against
continuing to mimic the commercial stations and their use of
irritating on-screen watermarks. Public response seems to have
managed to get them to eliminate it from certain shows, including
Dr Who, so it is possible to make a difference. Greg's webpage
is at:

DR WHO
Underworld. Veteran Dr Who writers Bob Baker and Dave Martin
provided this 1978 space going version of the legend of Jason and
the Argonauts and the quest for the golden fleece. The Doc, Leela
and K-9 materialize in the TARDIS aboard an ancient Minyan
starship whose weary but dogged crew are engaged in an endless
search for a lost vessel which contains the future of their race.
Underworld was the second last serial of Doctor Who's fifteenth
season, which means that it was also Louise Jameson's
penultimate regular appearance as Tom Baker's feisty and popular
companion, Leela. The story is let down by some rather sloppy
chromakey visual effects with actors even walking through rocks
on the floor of the matted in underground tunnels.
A much older incarnation of Tom Baker appears as the eccentric
black sheep of the Clan, Uncle Donald on Monarch Of The Glen.
7.30 pm. Saturday night on the ABC. Another Doctor , Peter Dav
ison is on the same channel, same night at 11.00 pm in At Home
With The Braithewaites.
This week’s Dr Who serial is the final one featuring Leela, the
rather long, but in many parts memorable story, the Invasion Of
Time, largely set on the Doctor’s Homeworld of Gallifrey. Watch
for a fascinating chase through the seemingly endless corridors
of the TARDIS! More on that next week.
