French psych-pop artist Laure Briard is in the middle of her debut Australian tour. Having just played So Frenchy So Chic on the weekend, she joined presenter Anna Strempel on The Grapevine for a chat about her recent album Ne pas trop rester bleue (Don’t Stay Too Blue).

Laure and her bandmates Marius & Vinny dived into their influences, from time spent in Brazil to how California’s mountains and canyons brought a country twang to the newest record.

“The big change in my life is that I met someone - my husband. I think it gave me a more positive vibe and positive thoughts and I wanted to focus on that.”
