Lauren is joined by Judy McGee of influential Sydney-via-Newcastle band pel mel, who were a formative part of Sydney’s burgeoning indie scene in the early 80s. Judy talks to Lauren about the recent Efficient Space release Late, Late Show. 10 years in the making, the record captures the band’s last recordings together.

The pair also reflect on what Sydney's band scene was like in the early 80s, recording with the legendary Tony Cohen, and why writing a letter to Elvis Costello was a gamechanger.
